COME ON AND CELEBRATE!
As part of our new Circuit Mission Plan, we are asking the church who hosts the circuit prayer meeting to share some good news. As the prayer meeting travels around the circuit we will get to celebrate with each church in turn. Last Month the prayer meeting was held at Redhill, and they would like us to give thanks for:
- 20 years of the Urdu Congregation! In October we are looking forward to celebrating that the Urdu congregation has been with us for 20 years! The celebration Is taking place on 5th October 2024 so feel free to rejoice with us by coming along or by giving God thanks for this fabulous collaboration within our church family.
- New people who are joining the church.
- The recent choir concert 'Songs of Sunshine' where the choir sang many favourites from 'Singing the Faith' for about an hour. The audience were occasionally invited to join and of course tea and scones were served afterwards. As well as simply being a fabulous time together, funds were raised for the church and for 'Practical Action' which is a charity Redhill's Junior Church often support. The Choir's now planning to go on a road trip in the autumn to visit a member who moved away. Thank you, Lord, for so much talent and friendships that span great distances.
